Meet the Founder

Luke Cometti

Luke Cometti is the founder of Kettle Lake Recruiting and an entrepreneur who has built and operated businesses in Central New York and Austin, Texas. Over the past decade, he has started and operated companies across industries including real estate, technology, and large-scale organizations and events, building a broad network of business owners and professionals.

Through Kettle Lake Recruiting, Luke has built and trained a recruiting team focused on helping companies hire quickly and effectively. The team specializes in proactive outreach, efficient screening, and connecting businesses with strong candidates they may not reach through traditional hiring channels.

Luke graduated from Syracuse University, where he played lacrosse before continuing professionally. The discipline, teamwork, and competitive mindset developed through athletics continue to shape how he approaches business and building strong teams.

He also hosts the popular podcast Upstate Impact, where he interviews business owners and leaders. Luke lives in the Syracuse area with his wife and their three children and remains deeply connected to the business community both locally and beyond.

Jack Ambrose

Jack Ambrose is the founder of Jambys, an apparel company focused on comfortable, “built for the home” clothing. He is an entrepreneur and investor with experience across consumer products and real estate.

Before starting Jambys, Jack worked in real estate private equity focusing on acquisitions and later joined We Work as an early employee, where he helped launch the company’s real estate investment arm.

Jack graduated from Yale University, where he played lacrosse. His experience and perspective contribute to the broader network and insight behind Kettle Lake Recruiting.
